Acer’s Predator 8 Gaming Tablet, Expected to be Unleashed Next Month; Features 8-inch FHD Display and Intel Hardware

Acer Philippines is planning to release the new Acer gaming tablet, dubbed the Acer Predator 8 this coming December. We tackled the Predator 8 and its smartphone counterpart the Predator 6 and how its going to revolutionize smartphone and tablet gaming and with the arrival of the Predator 8 in hand, things are looking good overall.

The Acer Predator 8 is relatively a decent sized tablet, though the 8-inched device could have been a bit improved, nevertheless it has a few intel cores in it to keep the games going and keep them in a state of playability. The Acer Predator 8 also has an 8MP rear shooter and 2MP selfie shooter, though despite being a bit underwhelmed by its shooters, it is highly expected, since the Predator 8 is a gaming tablet and camera images are merely a secondary thought.

The Predator 8 runs on a pretty decent Android 5.1 Lollipop and has a pretty cool metallic body with red glossy stripes, which could be somewhat attractive to gamers. Intel HD GPU is equipped with the device, to maximize its gaming capabilities and play out its best and 2GB of RAM are seen on the Predator 8, though for a gaming device, we could have expected something more than 2GB of RAM.
