A few months ago, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 was spotted on GFXBench and HTML5. It mentioned that Samsung has been working on another tablet after the Galaxy Tab S3 which was launched during the Mobile World Congress last year.

The Galaxy Tab S4 appeared with the model number SM-T835. Yesterday, the Wi-Fi Alliance has certified a device with the same model number. This suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 might be released soon.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Wi Fi certification

Based on the Wi-Fi Alliance site, the Galaxy Tab S4 will run on Android 8.0 Oreo. It was already reported in the past that the device might have two variants – LTE and Wi-Fi only. The model number, SM-T830, might belong to the LTE variant. Samsung might also be testing software builds with version numbers T830XXU0ARDA and T835XXU0ARDA for the Galaxy Tab S4.

According to the GFXBench listing, the device will feature a 10.5″ S-AMOLED display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1600. It is powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset along with 4 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64 GB. The handset has a 12MP rear camera and a 8MP front camera.

As of now, there are no further details about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. However, there are speculations that the company might release the device during the IFA 2018 tech trade show on September in Germany.
