Samsung has introduced the Samsung Notebook Odyssey Z today in Beijing, China. The launch was done at Intel’s Worldwide Launch Event of the 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor with 6 cores.
The gaming laptop features a 15.6″ screen along with a 6-core Intel Core i7 (8th gen) and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Max-P. It packs 16GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM and 1TB SSD. Being light won’t be a problem since the laptop sports a “Dynamic Spread Vapor Chamber” that covers both the CPU and GPU. Furthermore, it has two “Z Blade” blower fans that aids in cooling the top and bottom of the laptop. The device is powered with a 54 Wh battery along with a 180 W adapter that is included in the box.
The Notebook Odyssey Z also arrives with stereo 1.5 W speakers and a backlit keyboard. Shortcuts that triggers Silent mode and starts recording gameplay are also provided.
The Odyssey Z will be available this month in Korea and China and will launch in the US in the middle of this year.
