After a user backlash of their redesigned layout, Snapchat finally changed the layout putting friends’ messages back into chronological order and it is currently rolling out to most of the iOS users.
Late last year, Snapchat redesigned it’s app and received a lot of hate towards the layout. According to Snap Inc., its objective is to double down on intimacy over popularity. Still, dedicated users didn’t like the update that it led to 1.2 million people signing a petition to return the old layout.
Snapchat acknowledged that the redesigned app felt a lot of users uncomfortable and now they are finally reverting it back to what users’ been requesting for so long.
