Together with the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, the Sony Xperia XZs set the baseline for Sony’s flagship lineup.

The XZ Premium grabbed attention with its world’s first features, leaving the Xperia XZs on the shadow. But that does not mean it’s not good enough to be called as a flagship device.

You still have the same metal frame design while being sandwiched by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. While color options might not sound as cool as the XZ Premium, you at least get to choose from less-fingerprint magnet Ice Blue, Warm Silver, and Black colors.

Before we head deeper, let’s take out first it’s similarities to the premium variant.

The Xperia XZs packs in with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, the feature packed 19MP rear camera which allows ultra slow-mo effect, 13MP sensor for your selfies, and IP68 water and dust resistant.

Now that’s done, here’s what the Xperia XZs live with.

Instead of a world’s first 4K HDR display, it will make do with its 1080p IPS LCD panel crammed in its 5.2-inch screen. In replace with Snapdragon 835, you get to deal with Snapdragon 820 which is still powerful and capable in handling your daily needs.

All these will rely on the 2900mAh battery capacity that comes with Quick Charge 3.0 via the USB Type-C port.

The Sony Xperia XZs will go on sale first in US on April 5th with a price of $699.99 or Php35,000 Philippine peso.
