At around Php24,000, the Vivo V15 Pro is already looking to be one of the best premium mid-range phones in 2019. All thanks to its premium features at half the price of a 2019 flagship smartphone. But how does it actually look and feel? Pretty impressive so far.

No glass, no problem
The Vivo V15 Pro sports a 3D polycarbonate body but that doesn’t seem to be an issue at all due to its glass-like finish on the back. Colors will come in Glamour Red and Topaz Blue. But you might want to get the Red variant instead for a more striking look.
Apart from the design, the display is also one of the biggest attractions for the V15. With no notch in sight, it’s such a joy to use when you have all screen for your eyes and hands. But it does still have a thin chin bezel unlike from what we’ve seen from early renders. It has a crispy FHD+ Super AMOLED screen and has DCI-P3 100% coverage so colors are accurately vibrant with great contrast ratio.
Beneath the display is the fingerprint scanner. Given it’s from Vivo, we expect speed and accuracy close to the OnePlus 6T. However, we should be able to tell more about it after it goes through full review.
Indulge in high MP count
The Vivo V15 Pro isn’t short of flagship features as it packs a triple camera setup on the back. These cameras are the large 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle, and a 5MP depth-sensing. Capable of recording up to 4K 60 for the main sensor, it also comes jam-packed with AI beautification from makeup to body correction.
Sliding or popping up from the top is another larger 32MP selfie sensor capable of FHD+ video recording.
At this point, the Vivo V15 Pro already looks a stunner not only in looks but also in features. Feeling the phone in the hands isn’t as premium as other glass-clad phones but most people might not have an issue with it since it’s most likely going to be covered by a protective case.
