Xiaomi Mi Band 3 Spotted at Official Listing

A lot of teasers and expected date of launch leaked and finally, it is confirmed that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 3 fitness tracker will be debuting on May 31 through its annual product launch event in Shenzhen, China.

Though listing became inaccessible, it is still revealed that the upcoming Xiaomi device will be available for 169 Yuan ($26).

Users of the first-generation Mi Band has said complaints, they said that it has lacked a display and the Mi Band came with a mediocre quality strap. And since it is detachable there is a chance of losing the capsule-like device when engaged in a sports activity.

These complaints helped Xiaomi to improve the first-generation’s successor. Xiaomi Mi Band 2 looked even nicer with cool new design features and came with an OLED display for health data checking. Before they were complaining about the risk of losing the device but with the improved design, the risk of losing the capsule-like device decreased.

So for the upcoming third-generation of Xiaomi Mi Band, it is revealed that it will look just like its predecessor but with more improved features like touchscreen OLED display that supports gesture-based actions.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has been revealed to be a Bluetooth 4.2 enabled device which also features heart rate sensor, step counter, calorie calculator and sleep tracker. It is expected to come with NFC connectivity support and IP67 certified splash-resistant body just like the Mi Band 2.
