Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun responded to a question regarding the release of the Mi Max 3 in Weibo, and according to him, the estimated arrival of the said smartphone will be this July.
According to previous reports, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is expected to arrive with a 6.99-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1280 x 1440. It will be fueled by a massive 5,500 mAh battery pack with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.
The processor for this smartphone will vary depending on its memory. There will be two variants – a Snapdragon 636 SoC for the 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, on the other hand, a Snapdragon 660 processor for the 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM. It was rumored that the Mi Max 3 may not feature a 3.5mm audio jack.
In addition, the Mi Max 2 is expected to come with a  Sony IMX363 or a Samsung dual camera module. For taking selfies, it may feature S6K4H7 Samsung sensor and OmniVision OV2281 iris scanner.
