After multiple speculations and rumors, the design of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s has finally been confirmed by an official teaser posted by the company in their Weibo account. The photo teaser showed Wu Yifan (Kris Wu), Xiaomi’s brand ambassador holding the Mi MIX 2S. The handset’s launch will be held at Shanghai.
The photos have confirmed that the Mi MIX 2s will not feature the infamous notch. It also debunked the rumor that the handset will contain a top-right selfie camera notch. However, according to GizmoChina, Wu Yifan was told to cover the bottom bezel of the device. This makes it difficult to confirm where the front camera may be placed.
The Mi MIX 2s is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 845 chipset. Recent reports have also stated that the phone will feature dual rear cameras with AI and will support slow-motion video shooting in Full HD quality. The device might also feature 8GB RAM and a storage of 256GB. The handset might run on Android Oreo OS and may be powered by a 3,400mAh battery.
