Xiaomi just announced two new addition to their budget smartphones at their last event in India. Released alongside a budget smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Y1 is its downgraded version, the Redmi Y1 Lite. The smartphones’ budget prices are indeed right for their specs sheet.
That said, the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite are the global versions of the Redmi Note 5A Prime and the Redmi Note 5A. In terms of price, the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 costs INR8,999/$140/PHP 7,000. On the other hand, the Redmi Y1 Lite is priced at INR10,999/$170/PHP 5,600. Both smartphones will be available starting November 8 on Mi Stores and Amazon India.
