Facebook at work is a special app for workers and employees, wherein it’ll serve as a special hangout or social media place, specifically for their circle of colleagues. This is a very unique take by Facebook, because it serves as a way of reconciling colleagues in one social media platform, wherein they can share insights or work related affairs or simply get things out of each others chest for further functionality. Its a great take on improving work related relationships unto the peek, which is pretty rare these days
A new work chat feature emerges
Facebook at work now offers a chat service for the mini social media place, wherein everyone can chat with each other, similar to what the main Facebook site offers. The Work chat feature also offers the same services or functions similar to the Facebook private chat services, with the ability to share photos, documents, videos and audio contents, which is pretty useful in a functioning company group, to pass along certain information efficiently and unnoticed.
The application made its way a couple of days ago and has been quietly making good impact so far. Currently is available to selected companies on Android, with an expected iOS launch at bay. According to TechCrunch, about 300 companies are widely using the said app as of now. The offering is expected to launch next year for all business.
