Facebook activates Safety Check on Yola Blast in Nigeria and Paris Attack

The usefulness of the feature was put to the test with the recently fresh terrorist attack in  Paris and an attack on Beirut. Facebook was criticized then, for activating the safety feature for the Paris attack on Friday, but not on Beirut attack, which was on the day before the Paris attack. Just recently, Facebook activated their Safety Check on Nigeria and thus looks to provide efficiency in determining the status of certain civilians in the affected area.
