Blizzard’s new Moba FPS-like game known as “Overwatch” is the company’s latest IP in a while. Check out its gameplay, features and mechanics as well as the characters that you can use in the game.
To make things easier, think of Team Fortress, the highly addictive FPS team game, mixed with lets say, any MOBA game, like League of Legends and Dota 2 and you have Overwatch. As cliche’ as that sounds, its really something to look at. Overwatch basically plays out mainly like Team Fortress, everything is on first person, while your belonging in a team combined with MOBA elements of “heroes”, certain characters possessing specific abilities that are different from one another, but mostly has an inclined effect. An example are healers or supports, wherein heroes like Mercy, Lucio and Zenyatta plays out. Are you getting the picture now? positions like supports, tanks, hitters or carries and front line bruisers are in the game.
Ironically, this game is played on the PC and consoles, so you’ve get to enjoy Overwatch on your own preferred gaming mechanism. MOBA gamers that play on PC, will surely feel at home, while console gamers that primarily plays FPS won’t be left out in the open. With various abilities and unique characters to choose from, Overwatch is surely something to look forward to, as it launched next year, however, beta for the game is currently ongoing and by the looks of gameplay, its something that we should all look forward to, being a new IP from Blizzard alone is something that can carry out the game.
