Last year, a Kumamoto Technology on Weibo was spotted to leak a list that contained the devices that will be powered by an SD 845 SoC in 2018. Now, some of them have been released already. Listed here are some of the best smartphones carrying Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 chipset, and some that are yet to be released.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+
The Galaxy S9 features a 5.8-inch, while the Plus variant comes with 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display that supports QHD+ resolution 2960 x 1440 pixels. According to Samsung, both phones come with a new kind of coating on the screen that delivers deeper blacks. Both smartphones are powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset, which is the Snapdragon 845. Also, both are packed with 64 GB of storage and support for microSD card.
The S9 comes with 4 GB of RAM and 3,000mAh battery, on the other hand, the Plus model features 6 GB of RAM and 3,500mAh battery. Both features Quick Charge 2.0 and wireless charging.
In the camera department, the S9’s rear camera and the primary sensor in the dual camera setup of S9+ feature 12-megapixel lens with variable aperture of f/1.5 to f/2.4. The lens is also equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and dual pixel autofocus. The second camera of the dual camera system of S9+ is a 12-megapixel telephoto lens that comes with f/2.4 aperture, OIS, and dual-pixel autofocus. For taking selfies, both come with an 8-megapixel camera with f/.17 aperture and autofocus.
Both the S9 and S9+ can shoot 4K videos at 60 fps. These phones also support HD quality slow-motion videos.
Xiaomi Blackshark
The Xiaomi Blackshark Gaming smartphone features a Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor along with Adreno 630 GPU and 8GB RAM with contain 32GB of internal storage. It is fueled by a 4000 mAh battery pack.
For taking photos, it comes with a dual 12MP + 20MP cameras with 2x optical zoom, dual pixel phase detection autofocus, dual-LED dual-tone flash. It has a 20 MP front-facing camera for taking selfies.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s
The Mi Mix 2S features a 5.99″ LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Its dimension measures 150.9 x 74.9 x 8.1 mm and weighs 191 g. The device kept the same design as the Mi Mix 2, thin bezels with a ceramic back, since the latter won some design awards last year. The handset is also available in two colors — Black and White.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 845 along with eight Kyro 385 cores clocked up to 2.80GHz. The phone comes in two variants. The standard version has 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the high-end version has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and is powered by a 3,400 mAh battery.
ASUS Zenfone 5Z

The Xiaomi Mi 7 will be featuring a 5.65-inch display and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. It is expected to arrive with wireless charging technology for its 3,400mAh battery. In addition, rumors have it that it will feature a 3D facial recognition.
This Xiaomi smartphone hasn’t been launched yet but it was confirmed by the company that it will arrive with Qualcomm’s latest chipset.
