After launching the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s last month, the company is already working on their next flagship phone. According to a leaked poster, the Xiaomi Mi 7 might launch on May 23, 2018.
The poster was spotted on a Weibo post. The photo itself is a bit blurry leading to speculations that it might be fake. Xiaomi has always made an effort to release high-quality posters in the past. Furthermore, if the Mi 7 launches soon, it might interfere with the sales of the Mi MIX 2s.
The Mi 7 is rumored to feature a 5.65″ notched display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. On the other hand, Mi 7 Plus might arrive with a 6.01″ display with an 18:9 screen. These phones are also rumored to pack 3,200mAh and 3,500mAh batteries respectively. Under the hood, the device is expected to share the same chipset as the Mi MIX 2s.
Another reason to believe that this poster is fake would be previous reports stating that the company met some issues with Mi 7’s 3D facial recognition feature.
